Sizing

Vintage sizing differs greatly to modern sizing so any sizing labelled on a vintage garment is not a true indication.

We measure all items so please check our provided measurements against your own or a similar item of clothing that fits you well. Any sizing mentioned is to give a general idea.

• Chest - measured from pit to pit and is to be doubled
• Waist - measured at the narrowest part of garment and is to be doubled
• Hips - measured at the widest part of garment and is to be doubled
• Dress length - measured from the shoulder to the bottom of the hem
• Skirt length - measured from waistband to the hem
• Sleeve length - measured from shoulder to cuff
• Inside leg - measured from crotch to hem
• Rise - measured from waistband to crotch
• Shoulder to shoulder - measured from shoulder to shoulder laid flat
